No — and that's the whole point. They point any phone camera at the QR code and a web page opens. No download, no account, nothing to sign up for.
Only if you choose to show it. Every field on the tag page has its own on/off switch, including your number. Leave it off and a finder can still reach you — they tap "I found this pet", send their location and a message, and it lands on your phone.
You decide, field by field. By default it shows your pet's photo, name, breed, age and temperament notes. Things like microchip number and weight stay private unless you turn them on. You can change any of it at any time — the tag itself never needs replacing.
Report it in the app and it's deactivated immediately — anyone scanning it sees an invalid-tag notice instead of your pet's details. Then you can order a replacement.
