Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the PAWPAWLO app, this website, and PAWPAWLO ID tags. By creating an account or using a tag, you agree to them. PAWPAWLO is a brand operated by Rocktech Inc., [REGISTERED ADDRESS], Philippines.
1. Who can use PAWPAWLO
You must be at least 18 years old, or 13 or older with a parent or guardian's consent, to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything done through your account.
2. Your pet's profile
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish — your pet's details, your contact information, and anything you post in the community. Keep it current: an out-of-date profile is less useful if your pet is ever lost. Do not upload content you don't have the right to use, or anything unlawful, misleading or abusive.
3. ID tags
- Each tag carries a unique code bound to one pet. You activate it by scanning it once in the app.
- A tag is a physical object and can be damaged, removed or lost. Report a lost tag in the app and we will deactivate it.
- Promotional or free tags may be limited in quantity and offered on a first-come basis. Shipping fees, where they apply, are shown before you order and are non-refundable once a tag has been dispatched.
- A tag is not a tracking device. It shows information only when a person physically scans it.
4. Missing-pet reports
The missing-pet feature notifies nearby users and collects sightings. It is a community tool, not a recovery service — we cannot guarantee that a pet will be found. Filing a false or malicious report is a breach of these terms; a pet may be reported missing at most twice in any 30-day period, and we may suspend accounts that abuse the feature.
5. Community conduct
When messaging or posting, do not harass, threaten, spam, impersonate anyone, or share another person's private information. Report abuse in the app; we may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. Nearby features and personal safety
Being visible to people nearby is off by default and entirely your choice. If you arrange to meet another user — including to return a pet — use your judgment: meet in a public place and take someone with you. PAWPAWLO does not verify the identity of its users.
7. Health and care reminders
Vaccination and deworming schedules in the app are convenience reminders based on general guidance. They are not veterinary advice. Always follow your own veterinarian's instructions.
8. Purchases
Prices for tags, shipping and hardware are shown in Philippine pesos and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is handled by third-party providers under their own terms. Faulty products may be returned in line with the Philippine Consumer Act.
9. City partner programme
Participation is governed by a separate partner agreement. Exclusivity in a city depends on meeting the activity requirements set out in that agreement, and may be reassigned if they are not met.
10. Our content
The PAWPAWLO name, logo, app and website are ours. You keep ownership of the photos and content you upload, and you grant us a licence to host and display them so the service can work — for example, showing your pet's photo on its scan page or in a missing-pet alert.
11. Availability and liability
We work to keep PAWPAWLO running, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the loss of a pet. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Act or other mandatory law.
12. Suspension and closing your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings; doing so unbinds your tags. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [CITY], Philippines.
